Mrs. Jennifer Dubrasky

Hello my name is Jennifer Dubrasky. This is my sixteenth year at Ranson Elementary.  The first ten years I taught first grade. I am now starting my sixth year as an academic coach for kindergarten through second grade. I love learning. I attained my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Shepherd University. To continue my education I attended West Virginia University to receive a Reading Specialist degree for Prek through adult. I have also earned an Educational Leadership certificate through Salem University.

I love spending time with my family. My husband Daniel and I have been married for thirteen years. We have a nine year old daughter who loves gymnastics. Our family enjoys spending time together and playing with our two dogs Marley and Binks.

My educational philosophy is based on the fact that the best teachers are lifelong learners themselves. Great teachers are always looking for ways to improve their skills in the classroom and find innovative ways to meet the needs of their students. This is why I enjoy learning about the latest research and trends in education and sharing that with the wonderful teachers at Ranson Elementary. We all work together to ensure that our students have a great educational experience. I look forward to working with the students, parents and teachers this school year.
